Window-type ventilator with humidity control providing demand-based minimum ventilation

The AEROMAT midi HY uses the natural pressure difference for demand-based minimum ventilation and automatically regulates the room air humidity. The supply air inlet is controlled by multi-layer fabric strips that respond to relative humidity by expanding and contracting. This ensures demand-controlled room humidity in accordance with DIN 1946-6.

For high ventilation performance and comfort, the device with optional sound insulation modules providing 42 dB sound absorption is recommended. Additionally, a version with a rotary switch is available for extra manual control.

General Features and Operating Principle

This passive window ventilator provides demand-based minimum ventilation even when the windows are closed and balances indoor air with its humidity control features.

The system, which operates based on pressure differences, automatically adjusts the air inlet according to the relative humidity in the room.

Passive ventilation ensures continuous and controlled supply of clean air. Additionally, it is designed in accordance with DIN 1946-6, preventing mold formation and protecting against negative effects caused by humidity.

Design and Ease of Use

With its round shape and narrow air grille, the ventilator offers a modern and minimalist appearance. Hidden fixing screws ensure an aesthetic design, and special color options such as gray, brown, or black are available.

It can be concealed in the window sill, is easy to retrofit, and can be applied to existing windows. Cleaning the ventilator is very simple, and the air grille includes an integrated insect screen for extra protection against weather conditions.
