The ultra-compact design of the miniaturized rotary heat exchanger (1) makes regenerative heat recovery possible for the first time in a compact housing. Two pressure-resistant fans (2) ensure the balance of supply and exhaust air (3) even under high wind pressure on the façade, without any loss of performance. Additionally, it is possible to deactivate the relevant fan and operate the system in supply-only or exhaust-only mode—for example, for smart bathroom control. Temporarily disabling the heat recovery function also allows passive cooling to be used during the summer.
