PORTAL HS offers your customers more possibilities by providing different mechanism options. This ensures ease of use, flexible adaptation to individual needs, and the highest quality standards. The choice begins with the lock type: whether you prefer the classic model with two or more robust lock bolts, or the innovative, mortise design with up to three hook bolts.
With two or four robust lock bolts, you can easily achieve anti-theft resistance up to RC2 level. For those who want higher security, it is possible to achieve RC3 certified anti-theft resistance with four lock bolts and three double safety locks on a DS28/48/28 sealing rail. PORTAL HS is the only system that can offer this.
Up to three hook bolts, with integrated locking function, provide effective, first-class sealing and high burglary resistance up to RC2 level. Completely recessed when in the open position, the hooks slide gently and wear-free into the frame via closing rollers, reducing the load on the mechanism. Night ventilation is standard, and concealed pressure adjustment is offered with +/- 2 mm.
For these two lock types, a pre-assembled and ready-to-install damper unit is available as a comfort mechanism. A special spring hidden in the comfort mechanism reduces torque by using the weight of the sash, allowing the sash to be lifted more easily. Uncontrolled recoil of the handle is also prevented when the sash is lowered to the locking position.
The product offers long-lasting, highly functional security with silent locking and unlocking. Featuring an ergonomic and modern design, it is available in white, cream, brown, medium bronze, silver, and titanium, as well as matte light, F9, or black, and can be painted upon request. It offers a wide range of versions, including cylinder-compatible designs. It is designed to perfectly match the hardware and sash weight, and is fully compatible in terms of color and design with turn-and-tilt series handles.
Thermal insulation is optimized thanks to the multi-chamber sealing rail made of PVC. It offers the best compression performance when combined with the HS 4.0 sealing system. It is possible to achieve RC2 or RC3 class anti-burglary resistance using additional parts. The invisible mounting of the screws and the fact that it is only 28 mm wide at the top makes it ideal for thin profiles. It offers the fastest production possibilities thanks to pre-drilled screw holes and the corner piece between the horizontal and vertical sealing rail, and increases the sash tolerance range.
The multi-chamber sealing rail, made of PVC, optimizes thermal insulation. It can also be mounted horizontally to seal the upper sash area. With additional parts, it is possible to achieve RC2 class anti-burglary resistance. Installation is easy thanks to the existing screw holes, and fastening is done discreetly. It offers a sash tolerance range of ±3 mm in both directions. It can also be supplied with an optional additional sealing brush.

Thanks to its three-chamber PVC profile, it provides high compression performance and effective thermal insulation. Easily adjustable thanks to its compression-adjustable central locking system. The wide surface seal compensates for manufacturing tolerances. It can be combined with three aluminum security strike plates for RC2 class burglary resistance, thus offering effective protection against forced opening of windows with a crowbar.
There is a reliable solution for easy and safe operation of sliding systems: the innovative SOFT CLOSE function, which can be invisibly integrated into the sash. This system, consisting of a guide rail and damper, gently slows the sash down just before it reaches its final position and then closes it automatically. This minimizes the risk of injury in case of misuse and prevents material damage.
Thanks to its unique integrated ball bearing guide, the product offers an extremely smooth and gentle operation, providing a completely new sliding experience. It is milled flush with the surface for an aesthetic look and is also available in black to match dark profiles.
Prevents damage and injuries that may occur due to improper use. It is simple and intuitive to use; the possibility of incorrect use is completely eliminated. Thanks to its spring mechanism, it automatically adapts to every sash position and compensates for tolerance differences, requiring no adjustment or readjustment. It requires no maintenance thanks to its oil-lubricated gas pressure spring. Its completely concealed design offers an aesthetic appearance, and a black color option is also available for dark profiles.
Alongside the experienced version, a new generation of SOFT CLOSE is also available. Here, two options are offered: SOFT CLOSE compact and SOFT STOP compact, which can be used separately or together. The SOFT CLOSE function slows down the sash during closing and automatically pulls it to the locking position, while the SOFT STOP function stops the sash just before the locking position. The braking distance of the sash depends on the sash weight and operating speed. In the last few centimeters, the sash can be manually closed and locked; this manual operation does not require additional force to engage the damper. Both solutions have been specifically developed for slim profile systems with low space requirements and can be integrated into PVC and aluminum systems without the need for milling. This also preserves the durability of the profiles.
It is virtually invisible as it is directly integrated into the guide rail. It has an elegant and unobtrusive appearance. The elements in the lower profile area are easy to clean and are compatible with all SC guide rails of the PORTAL HS system.
